Threads of Health by Metabolic Sutradhars
A Kathputli Revolution
We've launched "Threads of Health," a captivating health awareness series featuring 26 kathputlis (string puppets) inspired by iconic Bollywood characters and renowned personalities. Leading endocrinologists and diabetologists—our "Metabolic Sutradhars"—collaborate with traditional puppeteers to deliver engaging health education in a culturally relevant way. These short videos, covering 16 vital health topics including diabetes, hypertension, and sleep apnea, combine storytelling, humor, and medical expertise to make health information accessible and enjoyable for audiences aged 25 and above. The series aims to improve health literacy, encourage preventative care, and promote positive lifestyle changes.
Managing Physical & Emotional Health
Walk of Confidence: A Powerful Message of Resilience
Our “Walk of Confidence” created a significant impact. Individuals living with lower limb amputations, supported by their doctors, participated in a fashion show. The show was designed by Rang De Neela and supported by Suta. Vikram Phadnis walked the ramp with patients and doctors as a showstopper.
This powerful event demonstrated not only the transformative power of fashion, but also the incredible resilience of the human spirit.
